- AI-crawler access — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, OAI-SearchBot (often blocked at the WAF)
- llms.txt and an FAQ / Q&A surface
- Key facts present in crawlable HTML, not locked in images or JS
- Consistency between what your site says and what models infer
Why it matters
More and more buying journeys start with a question to an AI. If it can’t read or trust you, it won’t recommend you — and you’ll never see the lost referral.
